A weekly announcement workflow for your church

  1. Collect and confirm the details

    Ask ministry leads for the title, date, time, location, action needed and any poster. Confirm the information before drafting. Keep the group caption readable even when a poster contains the same details.

  2. Choose the people who need the message

    Use your connected congregation group for general notices and a relevant team group for rehearsals or volunteer preparation. Add Groupie only to groups you administer and want to use. Send REFRESH GROUPS privately after adding Groupie so you can choose the group in the guided flow.

  3. Draft each notice in your private Groupie chat

    Send WRITE POST, select the group, and provide the title and publish time. Write a short message with one main request. At the preview, use More options and Edit attachment to include one poster or photo.

  4. Review the preview and approve

    Check the recipient, timezone, date, time, message and attachment. Correct mistakes using the edit options, then tap Approve. Scheduling requires a paid workspace plan. The NOW option sends after approval rather than at a future scheduled time.

  5. Check the result and keep the schedule current

    Use POSTS SCHEDULED or the dashboard to review upcoming announcements. A saved schedule is not delivery confirmation. If plans change, review the available edit or cancel controls and prepare a clear correction for members.

Only include the RSVP instruction when you have created a Groupie event with RSVP enabled. An ordinary announcement does not gain attendance buttons because its caption mentions them.
